The Institute

The second Stephen King book I’ve ever read (the first being Carrie obviously).

It’s pretty good and I remember I was turning pages like crazy when I first read it.

I was also pretty new to books in general though so I’ve marked it down on the basis that my tastes are probably better now than they were 6 years ago.

There’s a particular scene with kids being submerged into a tank which had me do my biggest page turning so far. I think I blitzed through 100 pages and was still hungry for more.

Some major Stranger Things vibes in here but that’s backwards really. Stranger Things is major Stephen King vibes.
