The Pianist
I have just finished reading this so it’s pretty fresh in my mind.
The writing is a bit difficult sometimes. Forgotten commas all over the shop and then I find myself halfway through a sentence and still not comprehending it.
Also it pains me to say this but I found the movie more enjoyable. I know this is a man’s personal account of all the death that went on in his city, but yeah, the movie displayed it in a way that appeals to me more… sorry.
Had I not seen the movie first multiple times then maybe I would’ve rated this higher.
It’s a depressing read so if that’s your bag (it’s always mine), I still think you’ll have a good time.
