Green Wire

Titled after a trailing green XLR cable I had in my flat, I’m very imaginative.

Julian Lage gave me pointers on this song too (he was giving lessons through Covid, highly recommend if we ever face another global disaster), particularly around the harmonic rhythm of the song. The song’s chord changes are now a little less predicatable than they once were.

I’m not a huge fan of this song, it’s not explored enough but there’s some decent ideas in here. Definitely some Avishai Cohen influences cropping up on the melody halfway through too.
