Stuff Your Eyes With Wonder

Written in Covid times.

The title comes from some sentence in Fahrenheit 451 that I was reading at the time. It was trying to encourage everyone to read as much as possible before all the books were gone. “Stuff your eyes with wonder” he said.

The melody is a partial rip of “Sing” by the Dresden Dolls. It sounds nothing like this but I liked the constant repeating melody as the chords changed underneath. I do this quite a lot, it’s interesting hearing the melody clash against new harmonies underneath.
